Our Story

CareWell was founded by two Registered Nurses (RNs) with over 10 years of combined experience in community and long-term care settings. Throughout our careers, we have had the privilege of supporting older adults, including many living with Dementia, neurological conditions, brain injuries, and mental health.

Through our work, we saw something important: beyond medical care, people need connection. We witness firsthand how vital social engagement and meaningful interaction are to overall well-being. Too often, our loved ones experience loneliness, isolation, or a lack of purpose in their daily lives.

That is why we started CareWell: to bring warmth, friendship, and meaningful interaction into the lives of older adults. Whether you’re seeking a companion for yourself or a loved one, or you know someone who would benefit from a caring presence, we are here to help.

Because at the heart of it, everyone deserves to feel valued, connected, and supported.

The Power of Connection

According to Statistics Canada, nearly one in four seniors who face barriers to social or recreational activities report feelings of loneliness. Seniors who regularly take part in social activities report better overall health, less loneliness, and a greater sense of life satisfaction.

At CareWell Home And Community Services, we understand how difficult it can be for families to balance daily life while ensuring loved ones feel connected, supported and cared for. That’s why our approach always begins with heartfelt care. Whether at home, in a retirement residence, or in long-term care setting, we provide meaningful support that fosters comfort, dignity, and joy.

How to Get Started

A free, no obligation consult with a Nurse.

The Nurse will come to visit you to get to know you better.

They’ll ask about your passions, hobbies, and interests to see which caregiver is your best fit.

Based on this, the Nurse will create a holistic, customized Care Plan to provide the very best care.

Safety is of utmost importance to us. Before care starts, a safety assessment of the home will be conducted.
